Texas County Court Clerk's office is an official Passport Application Acceptance Facility.

Passport applications are accepted in the Court Clerk's Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (including the Noon hour, but with limited office staff).
Forms (applications, renewals, consents, etc.) may be obtained from the Court Clerk's Office or online at www.travel.state.gov, at no charge. Forms can be completed online and printed to take into our office.
To apply, you must arrive with your completed application form (it MUST be completed in black ink), a passport photo, a valid ID (driver's license is commonly used), a State sealed certified copy of your birth certificate (or other proof of Citizenship), a check or money order payable to US Department of State for the application fee(s). (Please note, your birth certificate/citizenship documents will be sent off with the application. Those documents will be returned back to you separate from your passport.)
Call or stop by our office for the application fee amounts; expedited services are available for an additional fee.
There is also an execution fee of $35.00, for each application, payable to the Texas County Court Clerk's Office, which may be paid by cash, check/money order, or debit/credit card.
If making application for a minor child(ren), the minor child(ren) and both father and mother or legal guardian all must appear when making application. (If a parent is unavailable, go to the webpage above or contact the Court Clerk's Office for instruction.)
Most generally the application process takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on the circumstances of your application and the number of applicants.
