Online Payments:

There will be a service fee of 2.95% or a minimum of $1.95 for using this system with a credit card. A fee of $1.50 will be charged if paying by E-Check. If paying using a Debit Card, the fee is $3.95. This fee is not charged nor collected by Texas County, Oklahoma, but by the payment processor (Forte). Duties of the County Treasurer:

• Accepts all deposits under guidelines set out in Oklahoma statutes
• Collects and apportions all ad valorem taxes for the county and its subdivisions
• Serves as the financial officer for county government
• Prepares financial statements and financial records for review by state and county officials
• Enforces the collection of delinquent taxes through tax sales
• Undergoes at least two audits annually by the State Auditor and Inspector
